Peripheral components
As the project was nearing its end, all the focus was on the PSU, HDD, & CD/DVD bay covers, along with the final bits of the watercooling system. The PSU cover provided the benchmark design for all three covers. I began by milling out sections of blue acrylic into the design I needed, some parts were then given a bevelled edge using a special milling bit:

Each part was then glued together, spray painted, and combined with Honeycomb mesh and a polished aluminium strip to create the finished look:

Also there was a last minute alteration of the top panel to include vents to allow the fan to pull more air through:

The water cooling system was made complete with the creation of some homemade clear acrylic angle barbs. Each one was sanded on a belt sander starting from a cube and ending up with the result below:

The final unique peripheral component is the HDD cage. It consists of only two plates of aluminium and some cast polyurethane rubber in the middle. All I did was separate the two plates between two hard drives, clamp the mould together with tape, and then fill the bottom with the urethane to produce a finished HDD cage:
